Craft workshops will begin meeting every Monday to prepare items for the annual UMW Heavenly Holiday Fair. Workshops are from 9:30 AM to Noon. Bring your own projects to work on or there will be projects available and ready to go. Our cupboards are full of wonderful supplies, so if you need something come check it out. We need fresh, new ideas so bring them on! What would you like to see sold at the fair this year? Questions - call Nancy Raymond 775-720-6266, Debbie Ham 510-406-4208, Barbara Gustafson 775-392-1382. Due to lack of storage, please do not bring items for Grandma’s Attic at this time, but save them up at home for the fall when we will start collecting. Thanks, Nancy Raymond 775-720-6266

After 14 years of service to the community, Helping Hands Antique Thrift Shop has closed it’s doors. We wish to thank all of you that have supported this outreach ministry of the Carson Valley United Methodist Church so faithfully through your donations and your shopping. We will be holding a “Going Out Of Business” sale on Thursday and Friday, October 11th and 12th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday, October 13th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Everything inside the store will be at “rock bottom” prices and we will have $5 a bag specials as well on all three days! Not only are all the usual treasures for sale, but also the display cases, racks, shelves and pretty much anything else that isn’t bolted down. Additionally, we will have large items for sale in the back of the store. Beautiful pieces of furniture and such that will be headed out of the gates at unbelievably low prices! Bring your trucks and trailers with you. Don’t miss out on this amazing sales event! The Helping Hands Antique Thrift shop is located at 1418 A Industrial Way in Gardnerville.
