Holiday Craft Fair  November 6
The Carson Valley United Methodist Women's Holiday Craft Fair is fast approaching.  Although the craft fair is
Nov 6th, please put the date on your calendar now and support the craft fair. This is the the major fund raiser of the year for our local unit.  We will continue to have an emphasis on silent auction items.  We really need help from our congregation in the form of donations for this auction.  Maybe you could ask someone or a company to donate an item.  Letter of request forms are available at the church.  Most businesses require a request on church letterhead.  There will also be a raffle.  Please think of items you can donate for the raffle.   If you are making something to sell at the Craft Fair please call the church office and will will put you in contact with the ladies in charge.  Remember the craft fair for your gently used ornaments.  Other gently used items are placed on Grandma's Attic tables.

                                           Altar Flowers

Would you like to acknowledge or honor a person, persons, birthday, anniversary or special event?  One very wonderful way to do so is to sign up for a specific date (s) for Sunday Service Altar Flowers.  With you donation of $30.00, we will order the bouquet, have it delivered to the Church and print who or what the flowers represent in the bulletin.  Just sign up on the Flower Chart in the Fellowship Hall next to the kitchen door.  Note on your check or offering envelope that is  for "Altar Flowers" and we will do the rest!  Following the 11:00 service we would encourage you to take your flowers to enjoy or perhaps share with someone special.
